Noted Great Raid author David L. Mowery will be our guide on this battlefield tour of the Buffington Island!  The tour is free, but those who donate at least $10.00 will become members of the Foundation and will be helping to support our mission of preserving the battlefield.  We will tour for two hours, break for lunch, and then complete the tour by 4:30 or 5:00.  There are no local locations for lunch, so pack a cooler and enjoy your meal in the memorial park.

This is a car caravan tour as we will be moving from spot to spot on the battlefield.  The last stop will have some walking on privately owned land.
