This is a tentative event.

We will gather at the Portland Community Center and explore both new and old Portland,  in many cases using the historic road net that was present during the Civil War.  After the walk gather inside the Community Center for a well deserved hot meal.  The walk is free and the meal is by donation.  This is a great way to explore a portion of the Buffington Island battlefield and support the Community Center!
